Phantom Blade Zero is scheduled to launch on Steam for Windows on October 28, 2026. This guide hub separates decisions you can make now—such as wishlisting, choosing an edition, checking hardware, and understanding the premise—from combat details that still need the retail build. Use the cards below as a task index rather than treating every trailer detail as a finished-game guarantee.

Steam identity: this site covers AppID 4115450, the base game published by S-GAME. Store packages called Standard Edition and Deluxe Edition are purchase options for that AppID, not separate games. The similarly named free-to-play title Phantom Blade: Executioners is outside this guide.

What the campaign setup means

You play as Soul, an elite assassin serving an organization called The Order. The announced story begins after Soul is framed for the murder of The Order’s patriarch. He survives a mortal injury through a temporary cure that leaves him 66 days to uncover the conspiracy and find a permanent solution. That number is part of the narrative premise; the official material does not establish a real-time 66-day countdown that should change how you schedule play.

The setting is the Phantom World, a dark martial-arts realm S-GAME describes as drawing from kung fu, machinery, occult elements, and Chinese cultural landscapes. The PlayStation introduction describes several handcrafted maps rather than one seamless open world. That makes route knowledge and returning to blocked or overlooked passages more useful than simply following a distant map marker.

What to do before launch

First, open the Steam store page and confirm that your account sees AppID 4115450. Add it to your wishlist if you want Steam notices. Compare your PC with the official minimum and recommended specifications, remembering that both published performance targets use upscaling and require an SSD.

Second, decide whether cosmetic and digital extras matter to you before selecting a package. The pre-order items Treasure Basin and Legacy are described by the official site as obtainable through normal gameplay. That makes them early-access conveniences to those items, not proof of exclusive combat power. The Deluxe package should be judged by its exact listed contents and your interest in those extras, not by an assumed gameplay advantage.

Third, leave room for launch-day checks. S-GAME has announced Steam Achievements, Family Sharing, controller-oriented action, and Denuvo anti-tamper on the store page. It has not posted a complete achievement list, final graphics menu, shader-compilation behavior, exact unlock hour, or a public PC benchmark build. Download size and preload timing should therefore come from Steam’s client when they appear.

How to read pre-release combat coverage

Official gameplay material supports a useful framework: defend reactively with dodge, deflect, and counter opportunities; attack with main melee or ranged weapons; and use Phantom Edges to add specialized expression. S-GAME says there are more than 30 main weapons and more than 20 Phantom Edges. Those are category counts, not a published launch inventory with final names, rarities, damage values, or acquisition routes.

For practical planning, focus on roles. Pair a main weapon whose rhythm you can read with a second option that covers a different distance or opening. Use one Phantom Edge for a situation your main weapons handle poorly and the other for a reliable follow-up. The Combat hub explains the official defensive vocabulary, while the Weapons hub tracks what is known without assigning invented tier placements.

Edition, platform, and language boundaries

This hub concerns the Windows version sold through Steam. Steam currently lists 15 supported languages, with interface, subtitle, and full-audio support varying by language. Check the feature matrix in your regional store before assuming your preferred voice track is included. PlayStation information is still valuable for official game design statements, but a console trailer does not by itself confirm a PC setting or Steam feature.

The Standard and Deluxe store entries are packages for the same base application. They share the same game route, combat guides, and update tracker here. Future DLC, a soundtrack app, a demo, or a playtest would need its own verified Steam identity before this site folds it into the base-game scope.

Reliable next steps

If your decision is whether to buy, use the release and edition guides first. If you already plan to play, move to Tech for hardware planning, then Combat and Weapons for a launch-ready learning framework. If you want story context without speculative lore, use World and Characters. The Updates tracker records dated official announcements and keeps future-event promises separate from completed reveals.
